“In rivers, the water that you touch is the last of what has passed and the first of that which comes; so with present time.” – Leonardo da Vinci
In the Moment is all about now, immersed in tranquility, making the most of opportunities as they present themselves, soaking up the serenity, keeping a quiet mind, developing equanimity, enjoying the simple things life has to offer, living a good life, making fulfilling choices and making the most of what we have rather than coveting what we can’t have.
Love life, cherish the small things, be kind, mindful and take pleasure in the moment and all will be right in your world.
I think about Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata when I look into this image so I’ve included a link below so while you look and read you can also listen. Enjoy
The image features an Osprey who built her nest on top of a buoy in the middle of the Kennebec River in Maine where many boats go up and down past her nest. She was raising two chicks; what a brave bird she is. The Lighthouse on the left is Curtis Island Light, the one on the right is Ram Island Ledge Light, both photographed in Maine, USA. The house in the distance is at Popham Beach at the mouth of the Kennebec River. The house is only accessible at low tide by walking across a long narrow sand spit which at high tide is completely submerged creating a rather gorgeous island. There is no road there. The jetty was constructed from parts of a board walk around Jordan Pond in the Acadia National Park, Maine, USA. The scene is make believe put together from photographs I took on my 2018 visit to the USA. It is a place to wander through relax and soak up the summer moonlight.
There are 174 layers and 47 individual photographs that make up the image. The layered file is 11.25 GB in size.
